Unit 2: Creating a Basic Rover
Unit 2 gives you all the tools you need to make a basic robotic rover.
The rover can be programmed to navigate a pre-determined path using timers. You will build upon your existing knowledge and learn how to use DC motors and motor controllers.
You will also complete your first soldering project by making a breakout board for the ESP32, as well as building the rover chassis.
The projects included in this unit include:
- Using DC motors and motor drivers.
- Soldering a breakout board for the ESP32.
- Building a 3D printed rover.
- Writing a sketch so the rover can successfully navigate a pre-determined path.
